We are busy searching for Camp Narnia’s new permanent home, so will not be running our regular overnight camps this summer. We hope to be able to offer overnight camp programming as soon as possible! Keep an eye on the website for updates on our property search.

We will be hosting a one-day Narnian Reunion for previous campers and their families on July 26th, 2025. The event is now FULL. All registered families, check your emails for full details on the Great Narnian Gathering!

“At the name of Aslan each one of the children felt something jump inside… Peter felt suddenly brave and adventurous. Susan felt as if some delicious smell or some delightful strain of music had just floated by her. And Lucy got the feeling you have when you wake up in the morning and realize that it is the beginning of the holidays or the beginning of summer.” – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Dear friends and families of Narnia!

We are thrilled to announce that a property has been successfully purchased in Cedar, just south of Nanaimo, with the intention of transforming it into Camp Narnia’s permanent home.

The property is large, over 30 acres, sits beside Holden Lake, borders onto over 200 acres of provincial park, and has a farm, orchard, and plenty of woodland. In the words of Peter Pevensie, “we’ve fallen on our feet and no mistake.” We are so excited to finally be able to re-incorporate farming back into the Camp Narnia program, with chickens, goats, vegetable and fruit harvesting, and much more that were previously a mainstay of summers at camp.

There is a great deal of work to be done to determine if and how we can run overnight programs on the property, whether through re-zoning applications or potentially agri-tourism. Purchasing a property was the first big step on this larger journey, and we’re excited to be able to move to this next stage of work. We cannot yet say if Camp Narnia will return for Summer 2027, but we very much hope to offer day programming of some description at the very least. There are a great many of you who have wanted to help with a permanent camp property for some time, and we are looking at options to welcome campers and families for work parties for those of you who wish to offer time, effort, or expertise.

We very much hope to be able to welcome you all back to Narnia as soon as we possibly can.

This is it — the beginning of the adventure! Do your best and enjoy every step!

All the best,
Fiona & Dietcliff
