Good Morning Campers,
When things got hard during her journey through Narnia, Jill often cried. It happened at times that things were just too hard, or too overwhelming. She cried when Eustace fell off the cliff and she found herself alone in a strange world, and she also cried when she was surrounded by giants in the castle of harfang.
Crying is a normal and healthy response to being overwhelmed, and is something nobody should feel ashamed of. However, as the author says: “Crying is all right in its way while it lasts. But you have to stop sooner or later, and then you still have to decide what to do.” Crying helped Jill get her feelings out, and then she would pick herself up and carry on as best she could.
Has something happened lately that left you feeling overwhelmed? How do you support your friends and family in times when they need to cry?
Talk about this and enjoy your day,
