Good Morning Campers,

When Eustace and Jill arrived in Narnia, they arrived at Cair Paravel, the great castle on the coast and seat of the queens and kings of Narnia.  Neither had ever been to the castle, and the last time any story went to that castle it had been nothing but a ruin.

King Caspian re-built Cair Paravel, and restored it to its former glory.  It would have taken a great deal of time, hard work, and commitment to make a place so beautiful.  A castle is like a living thing: it takes constant work to keep it clean, warm, and full of life.  Otherwise, it will soon become a ruin once again.

What do you do in your home, to keep it alive?  Do you do cleaning?  Has your family changed your home since you moved there?  If you could, what sorts of renovations would you make to your home to improve it?

Talk about this and enjoy your day,

Trumpkin
