Lamp-Post 2024

To my dearest Narnians,

What an absolutely splendid summer we had! We had to summon
some great magic to bring all of you into Narnia this year, with
several voyages across the sea to boot! All the effort was worth it
for the chance to see so many of your faces again, and meet so
many new young Narnians.

I hope that your adventures under the shade of the great trees, beneath the nests of eagles, and within earshot of the ocean waves, were all that you hoped they would be. You got up to all kinds of escapades this summer – Animal Games ranging far and near, labyrinths on the beach, stories brought to life, fossil hunting and wildlife rescuing… There were also strange flags, new verses for old songs, and a camp director caught in a net, as I recall. Hijinks and shenanigans indeed!

I believe it shall be some time before I see you again. In your absence, we will be hard at work here at Cair Paravel – the tasks of ruling a kingdom never cease! We believe it’s time to make our cabin circle round again, time to let the Lamp-post grow a little taller, time for new forest paths under Narnian stars…In the meantime, remember to always Do Your Best and Enjoy
Every Step!
