Camp Narnia 2021 is Confirmed

We are so excited to announce that Camp Narnia 2021 will be happening!  With the change in the public health order, and with successful negotiations with our rental property, we are now confident that everything will be coming together to allow us to run our beloved camp this year.

Camp Narnia will be running 5 weeks of program, each week with up to 60 camper spaces.  Everybody who is registered on a waitlist will get a spot.

While we originally took bookings for August 1st–28th (Weeks 1-4), we now have space for campers July 25th–31st as well.  We are calling this “Week 0,” and have 60 spots available in that week.

Confirming your spot at Camp Narnia

If you have registered through our website and are either on a waitlist or have put down a deposit, no action is required.  You should get a confirmation email in the coming days for your spot at camp.  Campers registered or on waitlists for Weeks 1-4 who would prefer Week 0 (24-31July) can move over by emailing [email protected].

For campers who did not manage to register, we will be putting up a new registration page for Week 0 this Wednesday, June 9th at 9:00am.  If you would like a personal notification that Week 0 registration is open, please email [email protected], and we will add you to our list for email notification.

COVID Procedures at Camp Narnia

While the provincial health order has been lifted, the COVID rules for camps are still in the final stages of negotiations; we do not have 100% final wording on the rules for camps.  We have seen many drafts, and have confidence that any changes that come up in the coming weeks will be minor, and manageable.

A full copy of our COVID-19 control plan will be published on our website as soon as it is ready, along with the regulations we are following.  While we are confident that we will be able to run in a manner safer than schools, day camps, and other allowed programs, we will retain our 100% refund policy up to check-in day for any parents who do not feel comfortable sending their child to camp for any reason.  We are always available by email or phone to discuss any concerns you may have for your children’s well-being.

What we can say, is that the impact on our program will be minor.  While some parts of the week will need to change for COVID safety reasons, the core experience of coming to camp will remain unchanged, and the memories and friendships will be as bright as ever.
