| How
the Witch Stole the Stack
Every kid up in Teenland
liked Yellow Cups a lot…
But the Witch, who lived just North of Teenland,
did NOT!
The Witch hated Yellow Cups! The whole yellow
cup stack,
Whether at breakfast or lunch, at dinner
or snack.
It could be her head wasn't screwed on quite
right.
It could be her crown was a wee bit too
tight.
But I think the most likely reason of all
May have been that her wand was not magical
at all.
Whatever the reason, her wand or her crown
She stood there on check-in day frowning
a frown.
Then she sneered, with her Witch knuckles
nervously cracking
"I MUST find some way to stop those
cups from stacking!"
For tomorrow, she knew, all the Teen girls
and boys,
Would start stacking their cups! As if they
were toys!
That's one thing she hated! The CUPS!
CUPS! CUPS! CUPS!
Stacks and stacks of bright yellow CUPS!
And the more the Witch thought of these
Yellow Cups stacking
The more the Witch thought "I must
stop this whole thing!"
So she snuck into the kitchen when no one
was looking
(Being all too busy with the chopping and
cooking)
And under her fur cape, glistening white
She hid those yellow cups right out of sight.
She took them down from the shelf, one by
one
Til they were all gone, every single yellow
stackable one.
Did
the White Witch succeed?
Are there no yellow cups left in Teenland
and Narnia?
