Camp
Narnia Staff 2004
|
We've had a great summer, many
of our favourite staff members returned to provide great fun,
friendship and leadership to our campers. We attracted some
great new camp leaders who also liked to play.

Homesteading, Craft Cabin, Talent Show...

Homesteading
Here campers chop their own wood to build their fires and
cook a delicious lunch of fried potatoes, beans, bacon & eggs
and enjoy that homemade bread from the bread oven.
The Craft Cabin
Batiking galore!
Talent Show
The band KISS paid us a visit in one of our weekly talent
shows. Okay…it was the boys from the Dwarves Cave who entertained
us. They were great! Well done guys!

Story of Drive Determination & Dreams |
Agnes,
...A Narnian Living Her Dream Our own Agnes Bartle,
camp Program Director and producer of our Narnia Plays, is at
this moment working in New Zealand on the set of the Narnia
movie, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”,
due for release Christmas 2005. And guess what department Agnes
is in ...the wardrobe of course...no kidding! All of us at camp
are proud of you Agnes and inspired by your example of how a
person can create the life they want. The following is a letter
from Agnes to all Narnians.
In the Wardrobe Downunder,
Kia ora and greetings from New Zealand! I hope you're
all having a great year and dancing the Pata Pata every
once in a while! So, remember how I said that they were
filming the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in New Zealand?
And how I was going to go down there and somehow get involved
in the whole thing? ... I'm here and finally, after months
of tracking down filming and trying to get a hold of people
I've done it! I'm helping out for a month in the Wardrobe
Department with the Production Company, Lamp-post Productions!
I'm on set, watching filming, helping out doing all sorts
of things and having an amazing time! Sadly for all of
you I'm going to have to say, "it will be revealed"
because I'm not allowed to spill any secrets but I will
say this much - it's going to be an incredible movie!
If you want to get on my up-date emails write to me at
ingapetrenko@hotmail.com
and I'll add you in. Do your best, enjoy every step and
always take the adventure that Aslan sends!
Bye for now Agnes |

Search for Hidden Treasure at Camp Narnia
Enjoy a New Hide and Seek Adventure…Geocaching
Geocaching is a new sport that involves searching for hidden
caches, that is, ...hidden treasure stashed away. You can only
find it by using an amazing, hand-held device called a GPS ,
or Global Positioning System. The latitude and longitude co-ordinates
of the mystery location are plotted into the GPS, which will
lead you to the treasure. When you find it, you must put something
back into the treasure box for the next group of seekers who
find it. Sometimes you have to follow other instructions, like
answering riddles and looking for clues before you find your
reward. Cool! |
