Camp Narnia's staff work throughout our spring summer and fall seasons. Our program staff are recruited from universities and colleges, many of them former campers who have completed the camp's Leaders In Progress program. They are bright, motivated people with a desire to work with children. Most importantly, they love being at camp! All staff members are screened with references and criminal record checks.

One counsellor is responsible for each cabin of up to seven campers. Occasionally the counsellor may have assistance from a Leader In Progress (LIP) and/or Counsellor in Training (CIT) assigned to his/her cabin.

In addition to the Camp Director who lives on site, there is a first aid attendant, program leaders, as well as maintenance and kitchen staff.

Counsellor Aides for campers with special needs

Campers whose behavioral, mental or physical needs require extra assistance to make their stay at camp possible and enjoyable, may be assigned an aide. Each inquiry is assessed by the Camp Director, and a suitable aide is sought on either a paid or voluntary basis. Any additional cost is passed on to the parent. Some subsidy may be available.
